12/2003 - Present TOTAL E&P – QA/QC Superintendent – Jafra Projects
- QA/QC Superintendent responsible for the following duties in the Jafra Oil Production facility and Gas compression station (CPF Extension and Wellhead Connections):
- Responsible for day to day Management and supervise the Quality Control activities of Lump Sum Projects and Maintenance of Projects as Pipelines, Flow Lines, Tanks and Piping.
- Ensure the applying of Codes, Standards and Specification to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Developing, Managing and scheduling of all required inspection and NDE activities and through contractors in well–defined practices& procedures.
- General work instruction, supervision of progress and analyzing results consequences apparent within the workdays.
- Review of Documentation and Procedure
- Prepare of the new company’s welding procedures sets.
- Monitor the WPS's, PQR's, Post-Weld Heat treatment, inspection & NDT procedures, the inspection & test plan (ITP) versus the specifications, Codes, P&I drawings. 12/2001 – 12/2003 DEZPC Syria – Deir Ezzor Petroleum Co. – Senior QA/QC (welding & NDT) Engineer
- The plant is located in the Jafra oil production centre of Deir Ez Zor Petroleum Company (DEZPC), a 50-50 JV between SPC and TOTAL E&P of France. It has the capacity to treat 50,000 Bbl/day of Oil and associated gas and extract small quantities of LPG and condensates. The main duties performed are:
- Provide both leadership and hands on inspection in the following areas: inspection and maintenance of static equipment, pipelines and piping.
- Ensure the applying of Codes, Standards and Specification according with Project in Safe and Quality Completion.
- Prepare of the WPS's, PQR's, Post-Weld Heat treatment, inspection & NDT procedures, the inspection & test plan (ITP) versus the specifications, Codes, P&I drawings. Prepare documentation (material trace-ability, welding, repairs, painting, coating, back filling, hydro-test, NCR, RFI, ITP, IR, concession request, pre-commissioning files… etc.).
- Coordinate with contractor QA/QC & NDT group after determining the appropriate NDT method applicable for execution.
- RT, MT, PT & UT interpretation.
- Supervising all new flow-lines / well connections activities as multi-discipline activities regarding Quality Control.
- Reporting to Construction Manager.

Kvaerner (USA) - CONOCO-Syria GAS PLANT – Hydro test & Project Engineer
- Testing of 420 packages (2800 lines with 140 thousands of diameter inches)
- Preparing the hydro test loop packages based on the P&I and isometric drawings. This job included dividing/merging of loops according to the specific situation requirements.
- Arrange Loops Inspection with Client and preparing/providing the hydro certificates for final approval.
- Preparing the contractor punch list items and completed.
